ACAPULCO BURGERS


Ingredients:

1-1/2 lb. ground beef
3/4 cup onion, chopped
1 can (15 oz.) DEL MONTE® Tomato Sauce
1 pkg. (1-1/2 oz.) chili seasoning mix
1 can (15 1/4 oz.) DEL MONTE Whole Kernel Golden Sweet Corn, drained
1 can (15 oz.) kidney beans, drained
10 each hamburger buns, split and toasted
1/2 head lettuce, shredded
1/2 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded

Procedure:

  • Brown meat with onion. Drain fat.
  • Add tomato sauce and seasoning mix. Cover and simmer 15 minutes.
  • Add corn and beans; heat through. To assemble burger, top each half of bun with chili mixture, lettuce and cheese.
